Book Review: Blood Moon by Mary Blowers

Hi everyone! Here is my review of of Blood Moon by Mary Blowers. I'm usually not keen on books with religious themes, but Blood Moon proved to be an exception.

An excellent, universal anthology for people of all religions.
Blood Moon is a beautifully written collection of short stories, both religious and otherwise, all circling the theme of finding one’s self and forming an identity through times of hardship. Each short story has a uniquely distinct voice and cast of characters. Blower does an excellent job weaving together fantastical stories with realistic ones and each conveys a different, uplifting message. The messages are versatile and encompassing, and I would recommend this anthology to those with non-religious backgrounds as well as those who are familiar with the teachings of Christianity. Blood Moon is written in the vein of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and will be well received by its readers.

Overall: Beautiful, uplifting, and well written. Five stars.
